Museums With Marisa provides engaging, illustrated, and colorful one-of-a-kind educational programs for children and adults of all ages and abilities. Virtual and in-person workshops focus on Ancient Egypt, Ancient Rome, Archaeology, and Art History. Virtual tours of major art museums and a large scope of various topics are all available for your specific group. Live interactive dynamic virtual programs are for all ages and interest groups. Many school districts, camps, community groups, and private schools utilize MWM enrichment programs to enhance their curriculum. Museums With Marisa workshops can take place right in your library, community center, or organization headquarters. Your patrons are encouraged to touch authentic artifacts that are similar to the priceless ones found behind glass in a museum. And remember – There are no glass cases in Marisa’s museum—please do touch!

Each program can stand-alone, or can be combined with any other program to create a series.

Museums With Marisa workshops take place right in your library, community center, or organization headquarters. Your patrons are encouraged to touch authentic artifacts that are similar to the priceless ones found behind glass in a museum. Your patrons will be lead on a journey to faraway lands in ancient times, deconstructing the art and history for all participants.
The average program length is around 55 minutes. However, MWM will customize to fit your organization’s specific needs. Additionally, many libraries opt for a longer 90-minute program for adults.

This class was EXCELLENT! My seven-year loved learning about King Tut! Ms. Marisa was engaging, knowledgeable, and funny. She did a spectacular job managing all the students on Zoom, and made sure to include the quieter kids.
You are an incredibly dynamic speaker, and I enjoyed your class as much as my daughter. You were also VERY quick to notice when she wanted to share something.

My son is a huge fan of the Percy Jackson books, so we knew he’d love this class, and it did not disappoint! This was a great mix of talking about the myths and characters, and what sounded like a super-fun Kahoot trivia quiz. Marisa knows how to engage young people and encourage them to share their thoughts and opinions. She tapped into one of my son’s interests and he was so happy and energized after attending this class. I highly recommend it, and hope there are more like this coming!
